A day after their fifth straight loss to open the season, Gus Bradley met with the media and announced quarterback Blaine Gabbert has a grade two hamstring injury and will likely miss Sunday's game at Denver.
Gabbert left the game Sunday in the second half and didn't return. Chad Henne will take his place Sunday when the team travels to Denver to meet the Broncos. Coach Gus Bradley also said today the team had no interest in the recently released quarterback of the Raiders, Matt Flynn.
Other injury news, the Jags will need a tight end, with Marcedes Lewis still out and back up Allen Reisner out for six weeks with a sprained knee.
The Jags also Monday claimed wide receiver Stephen Williams off waivers from Seattle and released Jeremy Ebert to make room on the roster.
Also on the injury front, Bradley said he talked with Luke Joeckel on more than one occassion, adding "I really feel badly for him, but expect him good to go in the off season."
